Welcome to Open Arms Primary Care!
We provide comprehensive primary care for people who haven’t always felt seen, heard, or well-served by the health care system. Many of our patients come to us frustrated by long waits, rushed visits, confusing bills, or care that feels impersonal or dismissive.
We do things differently. Visits are calm and never rushed. We take the time to listen, to understand you, and to build an ongoing relationship. Our care is trauma-informed and grounded in respect for each person’s lived experience, identity, and time.
We are a fully evidence-based medical practice. We follow established clinical guidelines, practice high-quality preventive and chronic disease care, and partner with patients to make thoughtful, informed medical decisions.

What's direct primary care?
We are a Direct Primary Care (DPC) practice. That means we do not take money from any insurance plans. Instead, patients pay a simple monthly membership fee that covers most of their primary care.
For that membership, you get:
Direct access to your personal doctor by call, text, or email
Same-day or next-business-day appointments
Longer visits and unhurried care
Clear, transparent pricing — no copays, no billing surprises
Many people assume that care without insurance must be expensive. In reality, our monthly membership is often less than an urgent care visit or specialist copay.
Because we don’t answer to insurance companies, our only responsibility is to you — our patient. That’s how healthcare should be.
Comprehensive Care
